Scubacam Housings

We stock the complete range of Scubacam housings—small, medium and large. These options cover all popular digital cinema cameras, including anything from a Sony FX3 to a Venice 2, all RED cameras, Alexa LF to Alexa 265, and more.

Our housings are built for use on the surface of the water as well as to be fully submerged, to a maximum depth of 4 metres. For fully submerged work, waterproof cabling is available to allow complete camera control while the camera is underwater, this provides a surface video feed as well as on-board monitoring, a power feed, focus and camera settings control.

Unlike hard housings, which are made for use at greater depths and typically made from full metal materials, Scubacam housings are much lighter and have better buoyancy control thanks to the air inflation and cycling system, making it easier for operators to handle and compose their shots. All housings are fitted with a 95dB leak alarm in the unlikely event of a leak, giving the operator an immediate warning.
